Our Inspiration

Meet Sargent (Sarge).  A loyal, stick-loving German Shepherd who stole the heart of every person he met. 

Unfortunately, Sarge suffered from arthritis in his joints & seasonal allergies that caused itchy skin & excessive shedding. As he grew older, he remained young at heart and mind, but his conditions began to severely impact his quality of life. We were left with a sense of guilt as to whether there was something we could have done sooner to support his aging body.

Stories of dogs like Sarge inspired us to create products that enable our four-legged family members to live their healthiest, most adventure-filled lives.

We partner with local animal shelters & adoption centers, like Austin German Shepherd Dog Rescue (AGSDR).  We donate a portion of our proceeds to assist in their mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing German Shepherds in Texas.  And we also provide lots of Canine Keeps soft chews to help Play for Keeps with their health!
